Semester Program (Academic Year 2011/2012):
As a Semester Abroad students you will likely take an Intensive Spanish Course along with three or four electives, for a total of between 12 and 15 credits per semester. All courses, whether electives or language intensives, are taught by highly experienced local and international professors holding PhD's in their fields of expertise or Masters Degrees in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. They are experts in their respective fields and serve as excellent sources of information for the students.

Semester Program
Both the Barcelona International College syllabi and professors have been evaluated and approved by Jacksonville University, Florida who accredit the courses. Regular reviews by Jacksonville University ensure that academic quality remains top priority for the BIC program. The combination of being a liberal-arts college with the benefits of a comprehensive university, allows the ethos of Jacksonville University to translate to Barcelona College.
Credits:
Join students from around the world, learning about Barcelona and the Spanish culture as you complete your studies over the summer for up to 6 credits. If you study for a semester, then you could earn between 12 and 15 credits during your time in one of the most emblematic cities in Europe.
Summer Program (Academic Year 2011/2012)
1 Spanish course plus 1 English elective
2 English electives
1 Intensive Spanish course
Each option is worth 6 credit hours.
