Where else in the world would you find classic American cars running off of Russian Lada engines, ration shops with palaces in the background, and revolutionary sloganeering drowned out by all night music and dance? Habaneros (residents of Havana), love their city that has become one of the most culturally unique societies in Latin American. At the head of Latin culture, Havana has spawned things as mambo and salsa, rum and cigars, mural paintings and Che Guevara iconography. The list goes on and on. Join us in Cuba for this opportunity of a lifetime. University of Havana Founded in 1728 by Dominican friars, the University of Havana is the oldest research center in Cuba. One of the great accomplishments of this institution is to have trained 1560 young people from third world countries, representing 65 nations.
